Ross And Jamie

In addition to being married, Ross and Jamie have been musical collaborators since 2008. From musical theater to religious music, they offer a variety of projects ready for your stage or space. Highlights of Ross and Jamie's joint projects include:

  • Play The Ukulele - an 8 week, group music class for older adults - grant funding assistance available

  • Original Music - Ross & Jamie perform (mostly) Ross’ original music at coffeehouses, stages, bars and more across the country.

  • Music for Yoga - Ross improvises atmospheric, instrumental sets for yoga classes in collaboration with the yoga instructor.

  • Group Music Classes - ukulele, guitar, songwriting, voice and more are available

  • Teaching Artists - Ross & Jamie are available to teach in classrooms or after-school settings, either enrichment or to enhance classroom offerings. Focus can include songwriting, musical theater performance, music & movement, ukulele, music technology or be customized.

  • Splish Splash - a concert featuring popular tunes from the 50s, 60s, 70s (for libraries, senior audiences & all)

  • Hop, Froggy, Hop! - a concert mixing original music & well-loved tunes for families (libraries, schools, etc.)

  • Skype lessons - Through Tiny Village Music, Jamie teaches voice & piano and offers vocal coaching and conducting lessons, while Ross offers lessons on guitar, piano, ukelele, composition, music technology and music theory

More about Jamie:

Jamie Feinberg is a musician, educator, arts administration professional and musical theater aficionado, with a Bachelor’s in Music from Smith College and a Master’s in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University. She has taught, worked and performed in professional, educational and amateur theater and music settings for more than thirteen years and has run her own small touring theater company for six.

Current projects & work sought:

  • Lecturer on musical theater history & race in America

  • Touring shows, with 1-4 performers and accompanist, with Not Your Mom's Musical Theater

  • Church concerts with Ross or solo

  • Church accompanist or guest musician (worked at a UCC church for 6+ years and an Episcopal church for 1.5, substitute for various Catholic services)

  • Guest church conductor to perform with your parishioners, culminating in a concert featuring Ross, Jamie and the choir members

  • Private piano & voice lessons, coaching via Skype

  • Freelance work blogging/writing, editing, social media & website maintenance

  • Musical theater workshops & classes for pre-K to Adult, including music & movement, Broadway performance, musical improv & more

  • Professional musical director (Equity & non-Equity) and accompanist with excellent sight-reading skills

  • Director & choreographer for events & shows

  • Director for arts camps & custom workshops

  • Solo cabaret performer, singing and accompanying herself in a set mixing older and newer musical theater songs
